Salon prive concours
The Salon prive concourse is one of the most prestigious car shows of the year with its luxury garden parties fine foods and of course a selection of some of the world’s finest supercars, hypercars and classics.
it was only a week beforehand that I decided to go. The plan was to go on the Saturday and not go into the actual show but to stay on the grounds of Blenheim Palace where we would see parades of cars going in. The car park is always a good place to look as well.
We arrived on Saturday morning behind a stunning silver Porsche Carrera GT and in the carpark we were greeted by another porsche Carrera GT, a Pagani Zonda, Multiple Aventador SV’s, a Porsche 918, a porsche Singer 911 and a Koenigsegg Agera R amongst other incredible cars. (what an exciting start to the day).
So we decided to go around the side and see some of the cars lined up for the next days Blenheim Classic & Supercar Event and these included some stunning Lamborghinis, Mclarens and a Ferrari F40.
70 years of Porsche Parade
The 70 Years Of Porsche Parade was incredible with cars like a Porsche GT3RS 4.0, a 911R, 918 Spider, Carrera GT, 2.7 Carrera RS and another 918 spider. Quite the line-up I think you will agree!
After the Parade we headed around to the truck carpark to see cars being loaded back up and it just so happened that the exit to the public carpark was nearby and we saw some crazy stuff like a Ford GT 720 Mirage, one of 3, a DB4 Aston Martin, Porsche Carrera GT, 599 GTO and a Ferrari Testarossa.
Hypercars, supercars and exotice (Inc The New SVJ)
Then from out of nowhere, a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse was unloaded and the day suddenly got a whole lot better. After a short photo shoot with it, My friend Marcin and I, followed it to the field next door, where we had watched the parade earlier. We were then greeted by a Black Carbon Bugatti Chiron and the new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. They where just sitting there with hardly any one around them.
After getting some incredible photos, we left and returned at 7am the next morning. To be continued in the next blog!
